IN MEMORIAM

Every day, the Los Angeles County Fire Museum Team honors those Firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty and from career related illnesses or injuries while serving our County of Los Angeles residents. We will never forget those who gave their all during their last alarm call. Thank you brothers and sisters.

THE FIRE MUSEUM TEAM wishes to honor the lives of every service member, active and retired.
A special honor is reserved for those who gave us everything to keep us free.

Let’s CELEBRATE OUR FREEDOM that was fought for by our military members overseas and at Home.
God Bless the USA

Memorial Day, Honor and Remember

MUSEUM FIREFIGHTER MEMORIAL

There are two Memorial walls here on the Los Angeles County Fire Museum website. One lists the line of duty deaths, those who gave their all while on duty. The other wall lists the firefighters who lost their lives due to duty related illness or other duty related factors. All our firefighters join the Department prepared to serve the County and contract cities. They work selflessly everyday so we may all stay safe and healthy. Keep your first responders in your mind, and thank them when you see them.

LOCATION OF THE LACoFM
16400 Bellflower Blvd
Bellflower, CA 90706

The Los Angeles County Fire Museum is on the ground floor of The Mayne Events Center, which is located in downtown Bellflower, California. There is a banquet facility upstairs that is managed by the private company TGIS.

Photograph of the Museum buildingOur sparkling display space is chock full of displays of fire apparatus and artifacts. You will also find our World Famous EMERGENCY! television show apparatus Squad 51 and both Engine 51s. As expected, they are central to our display. Our large collection of rigs include apparatus from the hand drawn, horse drawn, and from the early 20th Century to the modern era. We exchange the displays often and bring out various rigs for public viewing from our shop and storage warehouse in South Gate.

Our display cases are full of fascinating fire related artifacts. Our Engine Company 51 Store has t-shirts, hats, and more (including items not sold on the internet) that you will want to take home with you.
